Tom Sweatman works for Cornerstone Church, working alongside students in Kingston.
Cornerstone is committed to helping students make Kingston and Cornerstone their new home.
Be part of our society at Kingston University!
Come and join us on campus (Penrhyn Road) for a simple lunch and a gospel talk. A perfect event for friends.
When and where? All the information you need will be available on our Facebook page.
Brand new for 2018. On the first week of every month we'll be meeting on campus after lectures finish for a delicious "One-Pot" dinner, some activities and a gospel talk. Great for filling your belly, even better for understanding the Bible! Again, check out our Facebook page for details.
Morning - Every Sunday after the morning service the students head over with the rest of the Church for some delicious lunch at The Hub. Once a month, you’ll also get the opportunity to attend (or even to host) ‘Guess Who’s Coming to Lunch?’ – a tasty meal in the home of one of our Church members.
Evening - Every Sunday after the evening service we’ll gather for pizza, drinks and a student Bible study. Our first session will take place on Sunday the 23rd of September at The Hub, 8pm-9pm.
All the details for our evening service can be found on this website.
Throughout the term we’ll meet together for all sorts of student socials, meals and drinks!
We normally spend a day in London going through the British Museum and learning about all the historical evidence for the Bible. And/or we take a tour of the city, drinking in our rich gospel heritage with an expereinced guide!
Alongside that, we also want to equip students with practical tools for life. In the past we've run a Student CAP course and a CV workshop.
Weekend Away - A true highlight. In the early part of 2019 we'll all be heading away to a beautiful youth-hostel to enjoy a weekend of fellowship and teaching. In the past we've been to the south-coast and to the gorgeous New Forest.
Summer Missions - At Cornerstone we also want to give our students and opportunity to serve here in the UK or overseas on a short-term mission trip. We’re currently planning trips to Zambia and Belarus for 2019. If you’re interested, why not join us for an information evening this term? Details to follow.
