The concept is pretty simple, we aim to meet regularly to watch a film together over some snacks and then most importantly discuss what we’ve seen.
We want to increase our enjoyment of good cinema by sharing the experience together and engaging our minds, as well as our emotions and imagination.
Our viewing will be structured around a set of carefully selected films representing a particular season, all of which are connected by a central theme (like ‘The Future’, ‘Tough Times’, ‘Romance’ and ‘Artificial Intelligence’) which will help frame our discussions.
It’s open to any adult with an interest in watching and discussing film. We try to pick a range of films so that there’s something for everyone. It’s a good idea to check IMDb‘s ‘Parental Guide’ for a film before you come along, so you know whether there is any material you may prefer not to see.
We meet at the Cornerstone Hub: 234a Canbury Park Road, Kingston Upon Thames, KT2 6LF.
