About us

Cornerstone Church meet to worship God through Jesus with the help of the Holy Spirit; to learn more about Him from the Bible; to pray, share with one another and reach out to others with the outrageous, life-changing love of Jesus. And we laugh a lot!

We meet in Bedelsford School, not far from Kingston Town Centre, and have 2 morning services at 9am, 10.15am and an evening service at 6.30pm. We meet each Sunday to worship together, pray for each other and most importantly to hear from God's word.

People at Cornerstone Church

We are a group of people who have come to believe that the truth about Jesus' life, death and resurrection is the best news this world could ever hear. We have discovered that true love, peace, hope, forgiveness and lasting life are all found in Jesus alone.

At Cornerstone you will find some people who have believed the Christian good news for many years, but some have only just started their adventures with Jesus. Others are still trying to work out what life; God and the universe are all about. People at Cornerstone are of all ages and from many different backgrounds, from Kingston and beyond.

Cornerstone Church Kingston is part of a network of Churches called the 'Co-mission Initiative', which seeks to plant new Churches to 'make disciples of all nations'.

Sundays

  • Sunday at 9am & 10.15am

The Cornerstone AM services are for the whole church family. We have something for all ages. The children usually stay in the service for the first 15 minutes, and then can go to the crèche (0s-2s), Cornerstone Kids (3s-11s), Soul (11s-14s) or Rooted (14s-18s). We also have a group for internationals that uses simple English at a slower pace than the main meeting.

  • Sunday at 6.30pm

Cornerstone PM is a relaxed and informal service where we have an in-depth and no-messing look at the Bible. To help us respond we have a great band leading us in worship of our wonderful Saviour. Cornerstone PM is mostly full of students and young workers, but also includes a number of mature adults who can't resist it either!

THE MIX

THE MIX; so called because its here that all ages mix together to hear God's truth, usually on the first Sunday in the month. This is not a children's service, but a service that has something for everyone. The teaching is for adults, but is in bite-sized chunks so children can listen, and illustrated so that children can learn.
